Join Philadelphia City Planning Commission meeting on 9/22
On Monday, September 22nd, 6–8 PM
The Philadelphia City Planning Commission will host a meeting
about the city’s “vision” for 34th Street as developers like CHOP,
UPenn, and Bellwether move in on Grays Ferry.
Please come and ask for safer streets,
greener neighborhood and less pollution.
Grays Ferry does not need CHOP's 1,000 private car garage next to our playground.

CHOP's Plan
At 3000 Grays Ferry Avenue, right across the street from D Finnegan Playground, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is proposing a 1,005-vehicle parking garage at 30th and Grays Ferry Avenue. The garage would be over 74 feet high, 7-stories, reserved for employees, and would require a separate shuttle service.

But Grays Ferry residents, community organizations, and doctors at CHOP & across Philly all agree - this project is dangerous for our community.
TELL CHOP NO!
Grays Ferry has long been overburdened by environmental racism with higher rates of asthma and cancer, and this garage would only bring more harm.
Tell CHOP "NO" because Grays Ferry children deserve clean air!
